Marc is our Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Benefit Body Spa. He is passionate about helping people be the healthiest and best versions of themselves.

A former skeptic, Marc became a believer after seeing the incredible impact of BTL technologies first hand. Recognizing a need for non-invasive medical and aesthetic treatments in Fredericton, Marc launched Benefit Body Spa with his wife Megan. He is thrilled to bring an alternative to conventional, invasive and surgical treatments to the region.  

After 20 years in Toronto, Marc and his family decided to return home to New Brunswick. He brings valuable Marketing and Innovation experience to the team, having worked with global CPG and technology companies, as well as crown corporations.

A proud alum, he holds a BSc and MBA from UNB. While at UNB he co-captained the Varsity Men’s Basketball team and was an Academic All Canadian. He remains active in the UNB Basketball community!

Hi there - I'm Megan, CEO and founder of Benefit Body Spa. 

After personally benefiting from the cutting edge, non-invasive BTL technology offerings post-partum, I knew that I wanted to help others experience the same improvement in quality of life. 

We're thrilled to be the first to bring a full suite of non-invasive treatment options to Fredericton. We view each person as a whole and are happy to offer recommendations from head-to-toe to support people achieve their wellness and aesthetic goals, whether that's building muscle and burning fat, tightening and smoothing the skin, or strengthening the facial muscles and smoothing the skin with a non-invasive facelift. 

As a mom of two little ones, supporting moms in their post-partum is a personal passion and priority. Whether you're a mom who is 6 months or 60 years post-partum, our team of nurses are here to support your pelvic floor, core, and vaginal rejuvenation!

Dr. Renier van Aardt is our Medical Director and is passionate about helping people look and feel their best. In his 20+ years in cosmetic medicine, the field has become an important part of people’s lives — restoring confidence, correcting problems, and treating patients from the inside out. 

Board certified in Family Medicine and licensed by the Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and South Africa, Dr. van Aardt is a recognized expert in aesthetic medicine. He recently completed a term as President of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM), and has served on the board of directors since 2007.

Originally from South Africa, Dr. van Aardt completed his medical and surgical degrees in 1991 at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town. In 1993, he immigrated to Atlantic Canada with his wife and family. Today, Dr. van Aardt cares for patients alongside a dedicated team of nurses and medical aestheticians at four locations in Truro, Halifax, Bedford, and Fredericton.
